DARKON believes that light has a major effect on human emotions through its influence on our natural biorhythms. Using colour mixable L.E.D and fluorescent technology our luminaires can replicate natural daylight, creating subliminal stimulation for the human brain. Contained within the human eye, there are two main optical receptors; rods and cones. Rods are responsible for vision at low light levels (scotopic vision). They do not mediate colour vision, and have a low spatial acuity.
