Overview

Graeme Hadenham, Project Director.

Unique studio space for creative agency Host has injected new life and meaning into three derelict buildings in Sydney’s trendy, inner suburban Surry Hills.

The site now houses 1,700m2 of office space spanning over three floors.

Each of the levels offers a fine balance of industrial chic alongside homely charm. The high ceilings and large windows make for dramatic, luminous spaces, whereas the comfortable furniture and delicate finishes lend a softer, human dimension – allowing visitors to immediately connect with their surrounds.

Light Culture worked closely with WHO Design’s holistic concept supplying lighting to work with the industrial yet humanised environment. The lighting works harmoniously above the communal timber desks to provide a perfectly balanced work space.
