As part of the extensive refurbishment of the Bondi Park area, Lighting Art + Science worked with Light Culture for the lighting of a new pedestrian path.

The client specifically requested a circular light fitting with a contemporary look. This requirement made the WE-EF RMT street and area luminaire the optimum choice for this project. WE-EF’s unique 5CE system encompasses five critical elements: substrate, conversion coating, powder coating, PCS hardware and process control, and therefore ensures outstanding and long-lasting anti-corrosion properties. This turned out to be the most critical factor for the client as concerns were raised regarding the light fitting and pole finishes since they were to be installed right next to Sydney’s Bondi Beach.

“We found the RMT luminaire to provide the best balance of aesthetics, functional lighting performance and quality of light delivered”, concludes Richard Mason, the project’s electrical engineer.
